Audi Q7 featured here is the second generation of the nameplate and it has the entry level diesel engine: 3.0 TDI 160 kW/218 hp. This generation of Audi Q7 is the first in its class that can have integral steering (as an option or standard, depending on the engine and trim level), which means that rear wheels are steered too. Another first in the industry is a system that can detect traffic (cars, bikes) comming from the rear and warn the driver by lighting the yellow LEDs in the left side mirror and also the interior ambient light, in red color. This second generation of Audi Q7 is up to 325 kg lighter than the predecessor and comes only with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and quattro (all wheel drive). The infotainment system is new and features Google Maps navigation with very modern graphics (like in the Desktop/PC version with satellite view).
